Gerry Allard From Ottawa, Ontario, Gerry Allard had been writing songs for over ten years when he recorded his first single, Hey Bartender, in 1981 on Snocan Records. In the early 1970s, he played with a country/rock band called Country Revival. It was during this time that he began writing songs. Gerry and his own Moonshine band became well known in the Ottawa Valley. By 1983 he had a new backup band called The Barn Cats. |
